Program Description: This program was originally written in order to help young bassists to learn the notes and simple scales on the bass. I soon got requests from more advanced bassists requesting features to help them extend their knowledge of the fingerboard. With each version, I strive to maintain a program that a bassist can use as a beginner and continue to use as they grow to professional levels. About the Author: Webb Pickersgill has studied the electric bass for over 17 years. Having played in a variety of cover and original bands, he has been influenced by many styles including jazz, rock, heavy metal, progressive rock, and has been influenced by many artists including Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, Stuart Hamm, Billy Sheehan, and Yngwie Malmsteen.
